Stewart Kitchen

C. Stewart Kitchen is an interventional and correctional educator in Columbus, Ohio. He is an administrator of the Columbus Solicitor Education Program, which aims to reduce the demand for victims of human trafficking by educating sex buyers about the connection between compulsory sex work and human trafficking. Through a graduate research fellowship with the nonprofit She Has A Name, he has evaluated similar curricula across the U.S. and Canada to identify best practices for educating these offenders, while also helping them identify the habits and belief systems that have led to their behaviors.

As a formerly incarcerated individual himself, he is a passionate advocate for corrections programming that teach strategies and frameworks for personal growth, goal setting, and self-improvement. He is an affiliate of The Only Person U Cheat is U (TOPUCU), a personal development program that has helped thousands of incarcerated individuals nationwide. Stewart holds a master’s in psychology from Tiffin University, where his research focuses on the correlation between adverse childhood experiences and unlawful behavior.
