Stacy Burnett

Stacy Burnett leads JSTOR Prison Education, an initiative that provides incarcerated individuals with access to one the of the world’s largest online libraries. Through collaborations with higher education providers, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations, Stacy Burnett has expanded JSTOR’s reach to over 900,000 incarcerated learners across the U.S., Europe, Africa, and Australia.

Stacy holds an MBA in Sustainability from Bard Graduate Center, where she focused on social and environmental justice, systems thinking, and stakeholder engagement. Her passion for prison education is informed by her lived experience and her belief in education as a fundamental human right and a transformative force for systemic change.
