Felicia Dixon is excited to join the Formerly Incarcerated College Graduate Network (FICGN) as a board member, bringing her expertise and lived experience to support the organization’s mission. She has been actively involved with FICGN on its financial subcommittee, helping to develop sustainable strategies to empower systems-impacted college graduates.
Felicia currently serves as the Reintegration and Wellness Program Manager at RECLAIM, a Washington State organization focused on addressing the emotional, mental, and relational wellness—the often unseen labor—of those impacted by incarceration. In this role, she supports individuals navigating reintegration challenges, drawing on her lived experience after serving 16 years in the Department of Corrections.
As a co-founder and alum of the Freedom Education Project Puget Sound (FEPPS), a nonprofit that provides access to higher education at the Washington Corrections Center for Women, Felicia earned her Associate of Arts degree while incarcerated. She is deeply committed to increasing access to higher education for systems-involved individuals, understanding its transformative potential firsthand.Felicia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Washington and has dedicated her career to dismantling systemic barriers, fostering collective healing, and helping others thrive post-incarceration. Through her work with the If Project, she facilitates workshops for juveniles in both county and state facilities, addressing the unique challenges they face. Her work centers on promoting wellness and systemic change for those reintegrating into society.
