Bianca Pottinger is an advocate and community leader focused on expanding economic opportunity, workforce access, and justice reform for underserved communities. She earned her MBA and has professional experience across education, workforce development, and nonprofit spaces, with a focus on operations, program support, and systems improvement.
She runs a small consulting practice where she supports organizations with improving internal operations and strengthening service delivery, particularly mission-driven and community-based work. In addition, Bianca works full time with a nonprofit that helps justice-impacted individuals gain workforce training and secure employment opportunities in the trucking industry.
Bianca is also actively engaged in advocacy efforts throughout Virginia, partnering with organizations such as Virginia Organizing and other local coalitions to advance criminal justice reform, immigration rights, and policies that protect marginalized communities.
Her work is rooted in a commitment to removing structural barriers and expanding access to opportunity for people impacted by the criminal legal system. She brings a strong focus on equity, practical systems thinking, and community-centered change to the FICGN board.
