The Legal Assistant/Intake specialist:
· Meets with prospective client to gather case related information on the phone
· Educates clients about available services
· Creates and updates prospective client files, ensuring that all information is accurate
· Schedules intake consultations with an attorney
· Ensures prospective clients receive necessary information for appointments scheduled
· Manages phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication related to client intake
· Handles in office mailings for the paralegals
· Answers incoming calls when reception is not able to
· Renew attorney bar association memberships, renew software
· Register attorneys for CLEs
· Meet with clients in the office to sign and notarize documents
· Calendar case deadlines
· Process client documents
· Help maintain the office (cleaning, ordering supplies, organizing)
· Make trial/ hearing binders
