A shared commitment leads to collective transformation.
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of radical generosity to transform communities and the world. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past ten years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
GivingTuesday at FICGN is an opportunity for people in the community to come together to play a role in success! People can show their generosity in a variety of ways during GivingTuesday—whether it’s supporting the Removing Barriers to Access Scholarship Program, Incarcerated Student Borrowers in Default Fund, or Professional Development for formerly incarcerated alumni—everyone has something to give and every act of generosity counts.
Support our Center for Academic Program and Student Success (CAPSS) to empower incarcerated students with educational resources and support that pushes them a step closer to degree completion.
Contribute to the ISBD Fund, helping incarcerated students rehabilitate their defaulted student loans to be able to enroll in college.
Connect with and strengthen our FICGN Local Networks, fostering community and support for formerly incarcerated students and professionals nationwide.
Invest in Pathways to Leadership Advancement and Career Excellence (PLACE), our program dedicated to developing leadership skills and career opportunities for those directly impacted by the legal system.
Your gift will enhance Higher ed in prison faculty and staff well-being by investing in support services to improve effectiveness and improve recruitment of well-qualified, diverse candidates and improve long-term retention of faculty and staff.
